Testimonials:
"A painting is different
than a photograph in that it conveys something unseen. The portrait
of my daughters captures their essence so completely that when
I look at their portrait, I can feel them with me, especially
when the house is empty. As they grow, this brings us back to
that moment when they were full of childhood and life's potential.
The twinkle in their eyes of dreams not yet dreamed. It captures
a beautiful moment and I love showing it to friends and family
because they're always blown away."

"Great Portrait artists
are not only painters, they are magicians. They have the ability
to pull from a white two dimensional surface not just the likenesses,
but the quirks and the subtleties of the personalities of their
subjects. What happens in the end is exactly what you get from
a Cindy Procious painting...a wonderfully familiar expression
caught in space and time by an expert hand.
The impetus to have Cindy paint
portraits of my four children came from my suddenly confronting
an empty nest. Somehow, it seemed a portrait of these children
I struggled so hard to raise would be the most appropriate commemoration
of a time of passing from one stage of life to another. In no
small part, seeing Cindy's work helped cement my decision. Her
subjects had such wonderful life to them, her colors so brilliant,
that it left no doubt that she was very person to paint my children.
Cindy works professionally, with
a lot of humor. Many hard choices have to be made when starting
a project such as this, and Cindy has the uncanny knack to make
the right ones. The results of her work have been astounding.
The four disparate personalities of the children come tumbling
from the painting as surely as the kids themselves used to tumble
down the hall of my now empty house. Cindy Procious' portraits
are magical, there's no doubt about it."

"I will always cherish the portrait of my daughter that
Cindy Procious created. Not only was she able to capture my daughter's
likeness like a photograph but she also was able to portray her
devilish nature. Although my daughter is now three years older,
it still warms my heart to look at the painting and be reminded
of the mischief that was always lurking in my daughter's mind."
